Mercy recognizes women can often overlook their own health needs while caring for all those around them. So, on October 2, 2008, Mercy welcomed more than 500 women to the Sheraton Grand Hotel in downtown Sacramento for a special night of pampering, health and learning.
Care Begins with Me was an opportunity for women to take time out of their regular busy schedules for themselves and learn more about the importance of good health and life balance.
Early in the evening, women were treated to relaxing massages, delicious food, wine tasting and more. Following were special presentations by the inspiring local news anchor and mother, Deirdre Fitzpatrick, Executive Chef Randall Selland and several Mercy medical experts.
Mercy is dedicated to giving women the tools and information they need to live happy, healthy lives and Care Begins with Me was an ideal event in which to do so. |
