Mercy's 2009 Care Begins with Me - Health & Lifestyle Expo brought together more than 800 local women for a night of food, fun and inspiring discussions.

 

Early in the evening, guests enjoyed wandering through the Marketplace Expo which featured wine and hors d'oeuvres, chair massages, cooking demonstrations, specialty boutiques and information about the vast array of services offered by Mercy.

 

Our 2009 guest speaker was Kelly Corrigan, best-selling author of "The Middle Place", who captured the attention and hearts of every woman present with her compelling story. Throughout her presentation, she made us laugh and cry with her humor and compassion.

 

Following Kelly's presentation, guests were invited to participate in a number of Care Talk sessions led by Mercy-affiliated physicians on topics ranging from heart health and headaches, to power foods and fitness.
