About the Program

As a leader in women's healthcare, Mercy is bringing a new dimension to caring for women throughout the Sacramento region by participating in the Spirit of Women hospital network. Spirit of Women is a national network of hospitals, physicians, nurses, therapists and corporate partners in more than 100 U.S. cities who are working together to find innovative ways to educate and inspire women to improve their health awareness and habits. Spirit of Women programs address health topics such as healthy eating, menopause, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and healthy pregnancy.

 

Mercy is one of a handful of Spirit of Women programs in California and the only Spirit of Women member in the Sacramento region. As a participant, we'll share ideas with some of the nation's best and most recognized health systems on excellence in women's health and will participate in educational events and activities designed especially for women.
